Key Duplication & Rekey
Key duplication and rekey work happens right at the counter at 47705 West Rd, Suite B101, whatever you bring in. JK Locksmith Co. does in-store key duplicating whether it's a plain house key or a high-security side-milled key, so an ordinary copy and a more particular cut both get handled in the same walk-in visit.
That's part of what the Wixom storefront is for. Instead of scheduling a service call for a job as ordinary as a spare house key, you carry it to the shop's counter, and the same counter handles the harder side-milled keys too.
Over 100 Keys on the Wall
JK Locksmith Co.'s own count is over 100+ keys in stock, and the stock includes the odd ones. Flat steel keys, mailbox keys, cabinet and tool box keys, and padlock keys are all part of the everyday mix, and the shop even carries skeleton keys.
If something isn't already on the wall, the shop's line is straightforward: they carry all the odd keys, and if they don't have them, they know how to get them. You can email a picture to jklock@jklocksmith.com to check whether a key is in stock, though some keys need to be brought in-store to identify properly.
Keys Cut by Code
Desk, filing cabinet and tool box locks often carry a manufacturer code stamped right on the face, which is usually enough to work from without the original key in hand. Provide JK Locksmith Co. with the manufacturer name and the code, and the shop will check whether generating a key for that lock is possible.
Hardware and Padlocks
The same storefront stocks hardware and padlocks, from residential locks up to commercial-grade hardware. It's parts-and-knowledge work as much as it is key work, so whether what you need is a replacement padlock or a piece of hardware to match what's already on a door, the shop has both on hand.
That range is part of why the walk-in shop stays useful for jobs that don't fit neatly into one category. A padlock, a key cut by code, and a rekey can all get handled at the same counter.
